SCOPE OF ACCREDITATION

A-Cal has been established for over 20 years, maintaining leadership in the calibration industry. A-Cal provides specialized technical service and calibration of Physical Testing, Temperature, Electronic, Linear, Production Equipment and all types of Measurement and Test Equipment.

A-Cal's calibration laboratory quality system and control of its measuring and test equipment is in conformance with and is certified to the intent of ISO/IEC 17025. Accreditation and conformance was authorized by ICBO/IAS.

A-Cal’s accreditation to ISO/IEC 17025:2005 encompasses ANSI/NCSL Z540.3-2006 and ISO-10012-1 and ISO Guide 25 (MIL-STD-45662a). Our methods are in complete compliance with the American Society of Testing Materials (ASTM) and Manufacturer Specifications. Calibrations performed by A-Cal are traceable to the National Institute of Standards and Technology, (N.I.S.T.). A-Cal is an approved vendor for calibration with the major airframe companies.

The customer is the primary focus of A-Cal's professional management team. Our goal is to provide the customer with efficient, quality service. A-Cal's technical service is administered using current state-of the art calibration devices. A-Cal's professional technical team is comprised of the industries most competent and knowledgeable calibration specialists.

We understand that down equipment is costly, causing interruption to your firm's workflow and productivity. A-Cal's daily operation supports A-Cal's quality system statement, "COMMITTED TO SERVICE AND DEDICATED TO ACCURACY”, by linking technical support to your firm's operation, when required, therefore assuring our customers of prompt assistance in the resolution of any problem area.

A-Cal schedules services around your company's workflow, intending to minimize any impact on your firm's production continuity. One month prior to the Calibration Recall Date of your firm's equipment, A-Cal will provide you with a recall letter, listing equipment and calibration due dates. Providing our customers assistance in the accurate and timely scheduling of equipment.

A-Cal’s Certificates of Calibration are the industries most professional and thorough, Gold Sealed and embossed as an official document. The certificates are forwarded to the customer within five working days of the completed job order. A-Cal maintains file copies of your calibration records for a minimum of ten years. A complete historical database was developed for each piece of equipment calibrated by A-CAL including the standards used for its calibration.

We are also home to Calibration Technicians who are certified by the American Society for Quality (ASQ). This ASQ certification is a mark of career excellence that afirms the technician's commitment to quality and demonstrates an expertise and knowledge of the state of the practice.

A-Cal will provide your firm with calibration and certification of physical test equipment, from 1 mg to 1,100,000 lbs. A-Cal performs calibration of temperature control instrumentation for furnaces, oven surveys, and environmental and thermal processes. A-Cal’s capabilities also include calibration of linear measurement hand tools for quality control and S.P.C. (statistical process control).

A-Cal provides calibration and certification traceable to NIST of all physical test equipment and support equipment such as, but not limited to: Testing Machines and Strain Equipment (Tinius Olsen, Riehle, Baldwin, Instron, SoilTest, Forney, United-O-Matic, Wykeham Farrance), all makers of Ovens and Furnaces (Grieves, Blue M, Linberg, Despatch, E.J.), Temperature Controls (Honeywell, Barber Colman, Leeds & Northrup, Partlow), Optical Comparators (Gage Master, Jones & Lamson, OPG, Excello, Starrett), Plating Rectifiers, Precision Hand Held Instruments (micrometers, calipers, pin gages thread plugs, etc.), Torque Equipment , from 4 inch Lbs. to 2000 Ft. Lbs. Pressure & Vacuum systems, Hardness and Micro-Hardness Testers, (K.J. Law, Wilson, Service Diamond), Balances and Scales (Ohaus, Mettler, Sartorious), and Lamination Presses (PHI, Wabash, OEM), electronic monitoring and diagnostic test measuring equipment, (Fluke, Agilient, HP, Tektronics, and all power supplies).
